For over 30 years we have been building generating sets, listening to the needs of our customers and power specialists on ships and vessels. We provide support in selection, design, during installation and commissioning for both new installations and replacement of existing generating units.

Generator ranges

High quality acoustic enclosures

Acoustic enclosures are manufactured from zinc-coated steel sheet, powder-coated in the generator colour or a colour chosen by the customer. The enclosure frame is rigid and robust, and the panels are lined with high-quality acoustic insulation bonded with silicone adhesive, resistant to temperature and moisture. The whole assembly is mounted on a rigid base frame fitted with a drain plug and lifting eyes. The enclosure is fitted with removable panels allowing easy access for servicing all parts of the engine and generator alternator. The air inlet and outlet openings are designed to attenuate the noise of the engine and fan. On request, we can manufacture enclosures with various IP protection ratings, which not only reduce noise but also protect the assembly from the effects of weather.

Various cooling methods

Heat exchanger cooling Based on an integrated heat exchanger, internal pump and seawater, fitted with a dry exhaust.

Keel cooling Based on the engine's internal pump connected to a hull-mounted cooler, fitted with a dry exhaust.

Radiator cooling Based on a separately mounted engine-driven radiator, fitted with a dry exhaust. Additionally, a wet exhaust can be provided on request.

Full classification

We manufacture generating sets that can obtain class from almost any Classification Society. In such cases, the engine, alternator and all auxiliary equipment are tested by the Society's surveyors. Classification Society compliance and certification is subject to an additional charge.

Civil and military specification generating sets

As standard, we manufacture generators to civil specification, taking into account the regulations specified by the customer. For generating sets intended for the marine market, these are typically the class rules of any classification society. We also manufacture and supply generating sets to military specification, with particular focus on Naval requirements. Our generating sets can meet the requirements of STANAG standards. We can also carry out NATO codification for generating sets and their spare parts.

Stationary and mobile generating sets

Generating sets are manufactured as standard in stationary configuration. On request, we can manufacture and supply generating sets in a mobile configuration, i.e. the generator mounted on a trailer.

We manufacture generating sets to order against a specific customer-supplied specification.
