The type E heat exchanger is the result of many years of experience by the leading manufacturer of cooling systems in the European market.
Type E heat exchangers can be used for engine cooling or any other application where effective cooling of water, coolant, or oil is required. They are used primarily for cooling industrial and marine engines, power generators, agricultural machinery, mining equipment, hydraulic presses, injection moulding machines, and many other machines and devices.
The type E heat exchanger is available in two versions: industrial and marine. The marine version differs from the industrial version in that it has anodes to protect the body against corrosion, and the end covers are made of bronze resistant to salt water. In addition, the marine version has larger-diameter cooling water inlets than the industrial version. The marine version also has a drain plug, which allows the heat exchanger to be drained of water for the winter period.
The heat exchanger has double seals to protect against leaks. The core has a flexible "floating" mount, which allows it to better withstand temperature fluctuations.
The type E heat exchanger can be mounted in any orientation, as the mounting feet can be repositioned on any side of the body.
The heat exchanger can be easily dismantled for cleaning or periodic inspection.
